Main Purpose: Supervising and monitoring the implementation of the systems and communications` software and hardware in the mission, according to MSF standards, protocols and procedures in order to ensure the efficient use of ICT systems and equipment.
চাকরির দায়িত্বসমূহ
GENERAL:
Implements, endorses and safeguards MSF ICT policy and the mission specific ICT policy annex
Is responsible for the briefing on ICT of all new staff
Support the whole mission [capital and project(s)] on ICT issues
Reports on a 4 monthly basis to the hierarchical and functional manager
MAINTAINS ALL ICT EQUIPMENT, TASKS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
ICT helpdesk [1st line support]: repairs all occurring software and hardware problems;
Manage the e-mail profiles for the mission;
Maintains good network and Internet connectivity;
Does regular backups of computer users’ data and regular virus definition and engine updates of anti-virus software;
Keeps proper inventories of hardware, software and ICT documentation;
ADVISES ON THE PROPER CHOICE OF HARD- AND SOFTWARE, TASKS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Prepare a draft of the ICT budget for the annual plan in relation to the (mission) ICT policy;
Keeps him/herself informed about technical developments and Checks out the ICT market in country;
Looks for proper solution for the ICT needs in the mission;
Compares prices and quality of equipment, software and internet providers/services; Purchases ICT equipment and software;
Manages a small stock of spare ICT equipment.
SUPPORTS COMPUTER USERS IN THE MISSION, TASKS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Brief all staff members on ICT
Provide second line support to technical logisticians at project level
Advise on proper filing of unique documents
Organise computer training for MSF staff according to the needs;
Provide support to the field projects on ICT maintenance and repair;

Essential, advanced diploma in IT.
Desirable degree in technical engineering.

Experience at least 2 in IT related jobs.
Desirable experience in MSF.
Desirable experience in administration and recovery of backups (MS, C&A, Veritas, etc.)
Language: Essential, Bengali and working knowledge of English and good command of ICT English.
Knowledge:
Administration of Operational Systems (XP-Pro, W7, W2003 Server, Linux)
MS Office 2003/2007/2010
Microsoft Networks configuration and set up (network components -switch and routers-, Ethernet, wifi, Bluetooth)
Protocols: TCP/IP, LAN, WAN
Apps development languages: platforms.NET, Java, Eclipse RCP
Configuration and set up of networks: Desktops, Laptops and peripheric
Mail clients: Outlook, Mozilla, Lotus
Picture creation: ISO, MDF, CSO, etc.
Antivirus: Kaspersky
Other: SAP R3, Citrix, Remote Desktop Access.
