Supporting the technical implementation of Water and Sanitation activities at the Hospital and Health Posts, planning and organizing materials and HR for simple constructions, with a specific focus on:
water supply treatment (chlorination)
water distribution piped network maintenance
grey water collection, treatment (grease traps) and disposal through infiltration
excreta collection, treatment (septic tanks and/ or lime stabilisation where needed) and disposal
waste segregation and on-site management
vector control
dead bodies management
Assisting the Hospital Logistics team in ensuring the day-to-day implementation and administration of WatSan-related activities at project level, including:
training and supervision of external hygienists, waste officers, WatSan assistant, as well as medical and logistical staff where required (e.g. waste segregation training)
ensuring that the MSF procedures and protocols are followed by the WatSan teams;
maintenance and repair of technical equipment in the project;
provision and distribution of materials and tools used in water treatment, hygiene and sanitation (e.g. physical organisation and inventory of stocks, receiving and processing orders, checking that the amounts received are recorded, monitoring monthly consumptions, etc.);
team planning (e.g. staff rosters and admin, HR processes, etc.) and informing and involving the Hospital Logistician and the WatSan Team Leader in case of any major management or technical issue
Participating in data collection and reporting as required
Supporting the Watsan Team Leader in ensuring an appropriate emergency preparedness and response capacity (physical verification of stocks, contacts, transport means, staff training). Ensuring appropriate assistance to the project response team and if required, participating in emergency activities or exploratory visits
Transversal support role for the WatSan and Logistics project teams as needed, and as requested by the WatSan Team Leader

শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা
Diploma in Civil Engineer ,desirable specialization in plumbing and/ or sanitation installations.

কমপক্ষে ২ বছর
অন্যান্য যোগ্যতা
Work experience: Essential previous working experience in similar position of at least two years, ideally in INGO. Practical hands-on experience, as well as team and contractor management experience, are essential.
Reliable recommendations with good references
Linguistic competence: Good knowledge of written and spoken Bengali, Chittagonian dialect preferred. Excellent command of spoken English essential.
IT skills: Excel and Word practice essential.
