Scope of Work:
The Procurement and Logistics Officer – Cox’s Bazar works under direct supervision of the Operations Manager in Cox’s Bazar, manage procurement and logistics officer for RI’s Rohingya Response Program, including procurement processing, vehicle management, stock management, premises management etc. This is a new program opening in a complicated conflict settings requiring maximal flexibility, honest & transparency, patience with formalities, long hours, and creative thinking.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

Team management- supervise operations assistants, orient members on RI operation system, capacity building of the team and create a friendly operation team environment
Procurement – operate procurement process as per RI rules and procedures, keep update procurement reporting and documentation
Office Premises- organize general office management activities and create a healthy office environment
Vehicle Management- implement an effective vehicle management including fleet plan, movement control, maintenance and documentation. Prepare movement plan and track vehicle movement
Stock Management- implement stock management system including tool, receiving, stocking, distribution schedule, reporting and documentation
Transportation – develop transportation plan as per distribution schedule for goods movement as including receiving of the items, arrange loading and unloading, prepare transportation documentation
Asset management – implement asset management system as per requirement including asset tagging, updating asset movement, reporting and documentation
ICT – establish a good ICT based office environment, trouble shooting and tracking of all ICT information
Utility and energy management – pay the bills, track recurring payments and cost control
Repair maintenance – assess repairing need and organize regular maintenance
Security implementation- setup all the security measures as per decision and implement all the standard procedures
Reporting- prepare and submit all the weekly and monthly operational reports as per organizational standard procedures
Qualifications & requirements:

At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
5 years of experience in logistics, administration, procurement in INGOs
Able to prioritize, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel and work extensively – sometimes at short notice, in difficult places and under long hours – according to a results-based approach
Able to work independently and within a team.
Diligent in work processes.
Flexible in schedule, attitude and work prioritization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google software, particularly Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, MS Word and MS Excel. Adobe suite preferred.
Fluency in English
