Save the Children invites applications for the following position under an urgent response program to recent Rohingya Crisis in Bangladesh. We are working in different locations in Cox’s Bazar, providing vital services to displaced Rohingya peoples, including distributing the food, shelter, water & sanitation, education, health, nutrition, and child protection needs of the Rohingya refugees, particularly of the children.

Assistant Officer Administration, Rohingya Response
Number of position: 2 (Two)
Job nature: Contractual
Job location: Cox’s Bazar/Ukhia
Responsibilities:
This position is mainly responsible for assisting to carry out day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth operation of Cox’s Bazar & Ukhia Office under Rohingya Response program.
Assisting in vehicle management as well as maintenance is also a vital responsibility of this position.
Other key responsibilities include logistic support in organizing program meetings, workshops, Seminars/training etc; office maintenance; inventory management and coordination with other departments.
Requirement:
Minimum 2 years’ demonstrated experience of working in administration department in any reputed organization, experience of working in emergency situation is preferable.
S/he is expected to have sound understanding and expertise on vehicle maintenance.
Ability to work under pressure; be flexible in challenging situation;
Excellent skill of coordination and communication both in Bangla and English are some other pre-requisites.
Bachelor Degree. Familiarity with local context is a plus.
