Save the Children invites applications for the following positions under an urgent response program to recent Rohingya Crisis in Bangladesh. We are working in different locations in Cox’s Bazar, providing vital services to displaced Rohingya peoples, including distributing the food, shelter, water & sanitation, education, health, nutrition, and child protection needs of the Rohingya refugees, particularly of the children.

Senior Manager – Direct Implementation, EiE, Rohingya Response
Number of position: 1 (One)
Job Nature: Contractual with possibility of extension
Job Location: Cox’s Bazar
Responsibilities:
Manager-Direct Implementation will be mainly responsible for overseeing the implementation of Education in Emergencies (EiE) projects under Rohingya Response program.
S/he will be expected to provide input into program planning and have oversight towards efficient operation system of EiE as well as staff management and development.
S/he will be also responsible for assuring on time quality implementation of project activities; managing program budget and ensuring proper utilization of resources; monitoring program progress against both programmatic and budgetary targets and coordinating with other programs in a regular basis to strengthen programmatic synergies.
Requirements:
At least 6-7 years’ of working experience in education related projects implementation, preferably in Education in Emergencies (EiE), including 3 years’ in management position.
S/he is expected to have advanced knowledge about non-formal education program, Child Education policy and clear understanding about formal and non-formal education theories and practices.
Hands-on experience in managing team, good planning and coordinating skills, ability to analyze situation and context, excellent communication and report writing skills in English and Bangla.
Master’s Degree, preferably in Education/Social Sciences or relevant discipline.
