Save the Children invites applications for the following positions under an urgent response program to recent Rohingya Crisis in Bangladesh. We are working in different locations in Cox’s Bazar, providing vital services to displaced Rohingya peoples, including distributing the food, shelter, water & sanitation, education, health, nutrition, and child protection needs of the Rohingya refugees, particularly of the children.

Project Officer - Case Management, Rohingya Response
Number of position: 1 (One)
Job nature: 6 months contract with possibility of extension
Job location: Cox’s Bazar/Ukhiya
Responsibilities:
Major responsibilities for ensuring the quality implementation of Save the Children’s case management services in a specific area to respond to the child protection needs of vulnerable and at-risk children.
Supervise and coach Social Case Workers (SCW) on the identification, assessment, documentation, case planning, service provision and follow-up of at-risk children, Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC) and referral (to relevant services).
Ensure case management services and alternative care are provided in line with the Inter-Agency Case Management Guidelines and the Foster Care Guidelines. Support outreach and awareness raising activities to identify vulnerable children according to agreed vulnerability criteria.
Support the development of appropriate child protection information materials.
Requirement:
3 years experience in relevant field and ability to fluent to local language, experience in emergency response will be an advantage.
S/he is expected to have experience in interviewing and reporting of development works, documenting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative data and providing/ facilitating training, meeting etc.
Basic knowledge in child rights and child protection issues in Bangladesh, excellent organizing and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, Bachelor Degree, preferably in Social Sciences or related discipline.
People from Chittagong or Cox’s Bazar will be preference for this position.
