Save the Children invites applications for the following position under an urgent response program to recent Rohingya Crisis in Bangladesh. We are working in different locations in Cox’s Bazar, providing vital services to displaced Rohingya peoples, including distributing the food, shelter, water & sanitation, education, health, nutrition, and child protection needs of the Rohingya refugees, particularly of the children.

Officer - Health Service Evaluation, Rohingya Response
Number of position: 1 (One)
Job nature: Contractual
Job location: Cox’s Bazar
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible to carry out the evaluation of entire health services provided by SCI under Rohingya Response Program.
S/he will basically monitor and assess regular activities related to SCI health services through beneficiaries and community members to ensure quality and efficiency.
Other key responsibilities include relevant surveys conduction; tools/checklist development as well as execution; proper data management and identify service gaps.
Respond to any health-centered issues arising through SCI’s complaints and Feedback Mechanism system is another accountability of this incumbent.
Requirement:
At least 3 years’ demonstrated experience of working in the field of monitoring and reporting preferably under health sector in any national/international NGO.
S/he is expected to have sound understanding on health system and experience with KoBo Toolbox, ODK, or similar tablet based survey software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, intercultural sensitivity, ability to work under pressure and willingness to frequent field visit are other key requirements. Familiarity with local context and clinical experience will add advantage.
Minimum bachelor’s degree, Public Health is preferable.
