Save the Children invites applications for the following positions under an urgent response program to recent Rohingya Crisis in Bangladesh. We are working in different locations in Cox’s Bazar, providing vital services to displaced Rohingya peoples, including distributing the food, shelter, water & sanitation, education, health, nutrition, and child protection needs of the Rohingya refugees, particularly of the children.

Logistic Officer – Rohingya Response
Number of position: 1 (one)
Job Nature: Contractual
Contract Duration: 3 months, possibility of extension depending on availability of funding and performance
Job Location: Ukhiya/Teknaf
Responsibilities:
Conduct market survey and assessment in guidance of Supply Chain Manager.
Support procurement team to procure shelter materials like shelter kits and construction materials.
Support to prepare competitive bid analysis (CBA) and other procurement related documents
Conduct market-price monitoring and feed to program and supply chain team
Prepare vendor list, distribution and stock report.
Receive constructional and shelter kits in the field.
Manage store and field ware house.
Conduct monitoring during distribution time to assist distribution team for effective distribution.
Support to conduct frame work agreement (FWA)
Requirements:
Master’s in business studies or other related subject with at least 2 years of experience in logistic management.
Should have experience on procurement management
Should have clear understanding on frame work agreement and contract management.
Commitment to respect Save the Children values.
Advance skill on computer packages.
Candidates from local/Host community will be given priority
Candidates with experience of working in Rohingya camps will be given priority.
